Vendelbo is the epitome of classic fruit spreads —developed with a focus on familiar flavors, consistent quality, and versatility. The product line is based on the flavor profiles that many people already know and love. Vendelbo makes it easy to create delicious culinary experiences—whether for the breakfast table at home or in professional kitchens.
With its balanced flavor and consistent quality, Vendelbo is an obvious choice in both retail and foodservice. In retail, it’s a product that emphasizes a recognizable taste and consistent quality, making it easy for consumers to make a safe and familiar choice in their daily lives. In foodservice, the larger sizes and practical packaging solutions make the products easy to handle in a busy workday—from cafeterias and hotels to cafés and institutions.
Vendelbo is designed for versatility. The products aren’t just classic cold cuts—they can also be used to add flavor to everything from breakfast dishes to desserts. This makes them a flexible solution that can be used across meals, occasions, and cuisines.
Whether you're serving guests, clients, or your family at home, Vendelbo is a reliable choice that combines great taste, simplicity, and versatility.
You may notice that Vendelbo is no longer called "marmalade," but rather " fruit spread." This is due to new EU regulations that will take effect on June 14, 2026.
Going forward, a product may only be called marmalade if it contains at least 45 g of fruit per 100 g. Previously, the requirement was 35 g—but the new legislation raises that threshold. Products that fall below this threshold are instead classified as fruit spreads.
For Vendelbo, this means a change in name—but not in what’s inside. The recipes are the same, and you’ll still enjoy the familiar taste and quality you’ve come to know.
Fruit spreads are still a versatile, fruit-based product that can be used just as before—on bread, for breakfast, in desserts, or as an ingredient in cooking.
