Apple and liquorice cake

Preparation

1. Mix margarine and sugar until soft and add eggs a little at a time.

2. Sift together the wheat flour, baking powder and bicarbonate of soda and stir into the batter, then fold in the apple sauce and liquorice powder.

3. Fill the dough into a baking tin or other tin lined with baking paper and bake at 175 degrees for about 25 minutes.
