Blooming lavender in the summer sun is a sensory experience beyond compare. They are beautiful with a velvety lip flower in pretty axes.
Lavender is a semi-evergreen perennial shrub that delights people, butterflies and bees at midsummer with its beautiful and fragrant flower spikes.
The lavender part is conspicuous blue-purple. The leaves are needle-shaped and grey-green, the colour varying slightly according to the season. As a small shrub, the lavender can grow up to about 50 cm. The close-lying leaves are covered with a fine layer of down, which is very aromatic. If you let your hand glide over the lavenders, they will release a soothing strong scent.
Lavender honey can be either solid or liquid, and has a very distinctive and aromatic taste. It is not perfumed as one might expect, but on the contrary fresh with notes of citrus.
